CONTROL SYSTEM, MEASUREMENTS AND INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY

The Control System, Measurements & Instrumentation Lab is equipped with D.C Position Servo Trainer kit, A.C Servo Trainer Kit, Linear System Simulator Kit, Stepper Motor Trainer kit (Micro Processor Based), D.C Motor-Generator set, Kelvin Double Bridge kit, Schering Bridge kit, LVDT Kit, Pressure measurement Trainer kit Using Bourdon Tube, Hall effect Transducer kit, Regulator power supply, IC trainer kit, Through hands on experiment with real components & equipments, students can gain practical exposure. POWER ELECTRONICS LABORATORY

The Power Electronics Lab is equipped with all types of Controllers, Choppers , Regulator power supply, stepper motor controller, IC trainer kit ,Inverters, Converters, Micro processer & Micro controllers, Brush less DC motor with DSP controller, PISM software for simulation and are mainly covered in the BE curriculum. Through hands on experiment with real components &equipments, students can gain practical exposure. The students are developing prototype projects using our Power Electronics equipments by testing using CRO, DSO, Functions generator etc.







ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT LABORATORY

The Electric Circuits lab is concerned with basic knowledge and technology needed to understand the application of the rapidly changing electronics field. The lab is equipped with Function Generator, Single Trace and Dual Trace CRO's, Digital storage Oscilloscope and semiconductor devices designed to provide wide knowledge about Electrical & Electronics field. This lab also enables students to their projects in the field of Electronics, Electronic simulation and Real Time systems.







POWER SYSTEM LABORATORY

This laboratory is utilized to understand and analyze power system operation, stability, control and protection. In addition to that, it can be utilized to gain the basic knowledge on Object Oriented concepts through which the students can develop applications using Object Oriented Programming Concepts to solve real world problems. In order to achieve the above, this laboratory is well equipped with latest HP Business Desktops and soft wares like Mi-Power, PSPICE, Mathcad, Labview, PSCAD EMTDC, AutoCAD, C++ & JAVA.







ELECTRICAL MACHINES LABORATORY

This laboratory is utilized to practical implementation of the electric Machines course, as it is equipped with Transformers, DC motors, induction motors, Synchronous motors, DC generators and Synchronous generators. Students can investigate practically the single-phase and three-phase characteristics and speed and torque characteristics and modeling for the available mentioned equipment’s.







ENGINEERING PRACTICES LABORATORY

Electrical Workshop is a basic laboratory offered to the Undergraduate Engineering students of electrical and non-electrical streams. Its gives a fair knowledge about the various electrical gadgets used in day-to-day life and troubleshoots them. Also, it provides the basic knowledge of the various electrical symbols, safety precautions, types of wiring, earthing etc. The experiments are designed to expose students to the practical executions of the fundamental theories of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Beginning with the electrical symbols, residential wiring using energy meter, fuses, switches, indicator, lamps, resistors, capacitors, CRO, basic converters etc. students practice soldering & de-soldering in this workshop.
