The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the oldest departments of Solamalai college of Engineering. This intellectual category accredited by the most experienced professors. The well-qualified and experienced faculty members and prime infrastructure that supports the developmental skills of our students. The highly qualified faculty of this department includes with Ph.D. qualification. We organize technical symposiums every year to enrich student's learning and organizational abilities. Also we organize workshops to improve the ability of our students. The department of civil gains the major skills only through the lab experiments. That is why we have laboratories in national standards.

  • To design, planning, managing and supervise the construction of Highways, Skyscrapers, Airports, Metro projects, Bridges, Dams, Power plants and other Civil Engineering structures
