Mechanical Engineering
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is a large academic department of every engineering college. We have research laboratories which have national level quality. A list of our faculty's current research projects are the identity of wisdom. The footsteps of this department continued to land on robotics, mechatronics, micro-and-nano-systems, automated manufacturing. The work undertaken in the field ranges from the most fundamental, classical issues in engineering science to the latest cutting edge applications of the world around us.
Few Functions performed by Mechanical Engineering :
- Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability
- Working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector; monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
- Producing details of specifications and outline designs
- Design or redesign mechanical devices, creating blueprints so the device can be built
- Analyze the test results and change the design as needed
- Develop a prototype of the device and test the prototype
- Supervising production and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning
