Solamalai College of Engineering!On 3/04/2024 at 3PM, an eye-opening awareness workshop was conducted to guide our first-time voters. Ms. Shalini, the esteemed Election Officer, graced the occasion as the guest of honor.Ms. Shalini's address was truly enlightening! She briefed the eager gathering about the meticulous arrangements made by the Election Office to ensure a smooth and transparent voting process. From registration procedures to polling booth logistics, every detail was shared for the benefit of our budding voters.
Awareness programme on "UTS mobile app"
Solamalai Institutions NSS unit and Internal Complaints Committee collaborated to host an insightful Awareness Program on "Drug Abuse & POSH Act" for our students. Honored to have Mr. P. Rajadran, ADSP, Madurai, and Mr. R. Radha Krishnan, DSP, Madurai, grace the occasion and address the gathering. The session proved highly beneficial for our student community.

Solamalai College of Engineering organized Free eye check up programme with Maxi vision eye hospital in our health care center between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on 28.10.23.Students ,staffs and faculty members are checked and identified their eye related problems.
Dengue awareness programme
Solamalai College of Engineering organized Dengue awareness programme in Sakkimangalam village along with Rasagoor Government hospital.
Blood Donation Camp
Solamalai College of Engineering conducted a blood donation camp in our college on 27.09.23.Thirty four NSS volunteers given blood for needy and morbid patients of Government Hospital.
First Aid Training Programme
Solamalai College of Engineering, NSS conduct the First Aid training programme for non teaching staff , drivers and NSS volunteers with Appollo hospital on 23.09.23
World Nature conservation day
The NSS volunteers of Solamalai college of Engineering has celebrated the world Nature conservation day.This year, the theme for World Nature Conversation Day 2023 is "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet" Preserving our natural resources and environment is of utmost importance for the sustenance of life on Earth, Our NSS volunteers are eagerly participated in this programme.

Solamalai College of Engineering and Blood Donars club of Madurai Medical College organised Blood Donation camp(UTHIRAM'23) on 23-07-2023.

The NSS volunteers of Solamalai college of Engineering create a lot of awareness on the importance of tree plantation in surroundings areas. In addition to this, awareness rallies and tree plantation programmes are conducted in villages.
Swachh Bharat
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi exhorted people to fullfill Mahatma Gandhi's vision of Clean India. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a massive movement that seeks to create a Clean India.As part of Swachh Bharat programme, NSS organize camps in nearby villages. We also create awareness programmes for the school students on cleanliness, health and hygiene.
